The Housing & Development Board (HDB) will be accelerating its push towards higher construction productivity in public housing projects, with a new target of 40% site improvement by 2030, even as it delivers quality homes to Singaporeans. Accesstech is proud to be part of the team in driving towards sustained productivity improvements in HDB projects through the adoption of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) and had recently successfully completed the installation of all DfMA modules in the pilot HDB project.
Though with only a total of 71 modules planned and installed for 3 parcels of HDB blocks, it signifies the determination in continual improvement in construction productivity growth. We look forward to work with HDB and Builders to innovate, develop and automate solutions to increase productivity, sustainability and improve quality for more projects and to take DfMA to greater heights!
